Former Dallas Cowboys, Elizabeth City State star Jethro Pugh dead at 70

Former Elizabeth City State star and two-time Super Bowl champion Jethro Pough has reportedly passed away. The former Dallas Cowboys defensive end was 70 years-old.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js The Windsor, NC native was a two-time All-CIAA selection at ECSU before embarking on a 13-year NFL career that saw him help establish the Dallas Cowboys as “America’s Team.” Despite never being selected to the Pro Bowl, the 1968 All-Pro is unofficially credited with 95.5 sacks during his career.
