Norfolk State 88, Coppin State 69
Norfolk State’s junior class came up huge against Coppin State. Guard D’Shon Taylor scored a game-high 24 points and added 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Forward Rashid Gaston recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 19 points, 13 rebounds and three assists while Jeff Short chipped in 20 points.
NSU improves to 6-4 (2-0 in the MEAC) while Coppin State dropped to 1-7.
