NCCU Puts Up Record-Breaking 123 points Against College of Faith

By Steven J. Gaither

Days after playing underdog to UNC, North Carolina Central got to experience the flip side against College of Faith. NCCU came away with a 123-65 win in it’s home-opener, highlighted by an electrifying performance by senior Jordan Parks.

Parks scored a game-high 30 points for NCCU, two of which came on this ridiculous breakaway windmill. The high-flying forward established himself as an elite dunker last season and, after a slow start against Carolina, looks like he picked right back up where he left off.

// NCCU’s 123 points set a new program record, beating the mark set by the 1949 North Carolina College squad that beat Winston-Salem Teachers College 119-65.
