No Confidence: FAMU BOT Gives AD Winslow Thumbs Down

Kellen Winslow Jr. hasn’t been at FAMU long, but it looks like he’s already worn out his welcome. The Tallahassee Democrat is reporting that an athletics oversight committee of Florida A&M Board of Trustees gave Winslow a unanimous “no-confidence” vote on Friday.

“The full board is expected to address issues regarding Winslow at a meeting next week.

Holmes, with a 6-16 record, was fired four days before FAMU’s annual homecoming game.

The vote of no confidence in Winslow comes one day before the final home football game of the season. FAMU hosts South Carolina State on Saturday.”

The Pro Football Hall of Fame tight end was hired as FAMU AD in April.
