This is something you don’t see every day. So the Bethune-Cookman band performed during halftime of the season opener between the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Not unusual, as HBCU bands have been performing at NFL venues for years.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Apparently, however, the Marching Wildcats weren’t moving fast enough for Panthers kicker Graham Gano. He came out on to the field during the performance and appeared to push a band member out of his way when he needed some space.
Reportedly the band got on the field late, which would would explain why Gano was out there. Still, there’s no good reason for a pro football player to put his hands on halftime entertainment. Imagine if the entertainment had been a kid or a dog…People would be up in arms.
One thing is for sure, if Gano has the gall to push members of a college band, he better not miss a tackle on a kick return.
