HBCUs were well represented at the Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend. St. Augustine’s University men won their 13th D2 Indoor Track and Field title while Johnson C. Smith and Lincoln (MO) University women placed second and third in the women’s team competitions.
SAU totaled 84.50 points, bringing its national title total to 34 under legendary coach George Williams. Ty’reak Murray won the 60 meter hurdles while Roxroy Cato captured the 400 dash to bring home individual national championships. SAU also won the 4 x 400.
