Hampton Women Grab 12th Seed, Will Face Michigan State

Hampton’s domination of the MEAC over the past five years paid off in a big way on Monday. Days after winning their fifth straight conference tournament title, Hampton was awarded the 12th seed in the women’s NCAA Tournament. Hampton will play fifth seed Michigan State in Chapel Hill on Sunday.

MSU Women’s Basketball is No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament in the Stanford Region. They will take on Hampton on Sunday.

Hampton went 28-4 this season, winning all 16 games against MEAC opponents for the second-straight season.
