The NFL Draft is still almost two months away, but Isaiah Crowell already knows of a few teams who may look to select him. The Alabama State running back said several NFL teams have shown interest in him.

“I have talked with the Browns and the Raiders, and the Ravens I have talked to several times,” Crowell said  following Pro Day at Alabama State.

The Alabama State running back started his career off with a bang, winning SEC Rookie of The Year honors as a Georgia Bulldog in 2011. That would be his lone season in the SEC, as legal issues led to him leaving UGA and winding up at Alabama State.

Crowell had a solid, but unspectacular first season at ASU, rushing for over 850 yards and 15 touchdowns. He took it up a notch in 2013, running for 1,121 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior.

Despite running a disappointing 4.57 40 Yard Dash at the NFL Combine, Crowell figures to be the highest drafted HBCU prospect in this year’s NFL Draft. The 5’11, 190lb running back has drawn comparisons to Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch. There’s not much higher praise a running back prospect can get these days. http://player.ooyala.com/iframe.js#pbid=MDYzZmYzZjIwNTA0YjI4Y2YyM2JmNTgw&ec=xzd3JiazoI6NAlYgtsenySYAkXFFFfa3
