North Carolina Central extended its winning-streak to 13 games on Saturday with a win over its arch-rival North Carolina A&T. The 72-55 win was NCCU’s second double digit win over A&T this season.
Jeremy Ingram led NCCU (21-5, 12-1) with a game-high 30 points, and Alfonzo Houston added 21. NCCU didn’t shoot well from the field, but had 51 free throw attempts, hitting on 37 of them. They also held A&T to just under 30 percent shooting for the night.
