Scan the list of invitees to the College All-Star Game, and you’ll see a lot of names from familiar places. Georgia Tech, USC, Tennessee and…well, you get the picture. Well you can add tiny Virginia University of Lynchburg to that list as well. Defensive back Keith Lewis announced via instagram and twitter that he has accepted an invite to the all-star game.
VUL may be a punchline inside HBCU football, but Lewis is a serious pro prospect. He picked off seven passes for VUL in 2013 and had a solid game in the Medal of Honor Bowl, recording four tackles and breaking up a few passes. Keep an eye on him as the NFL Draft approaches.
#Blessed to put my school on the map … Y’all scouts will know who Virginia University of Lynchburg is very soon ðŸˆðŸ’¯ðŸ™ðŸ™Œâœ”ï¸â€¼ï¸ #VUL
