After a year away from the limelight, Joe Taylor has resurfaced in the HBCU sports world. Just over a year after retiring from coaching, Joe Taylor was introduced as the new athletic director at Virginia Union University.
“When this opportunity came, it was one I could not turn down,” Taylor told the media.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Taylor is one of the winningest coaches in black college football, having a 233-96-4 record while coaching at Howard, Virginia Union, Hampton and Florida A&M. Taylor won 10 conference championships and four Black College Football national championships.
