So it makes sense that The Big Apple Classic, the city’s only HBCU basketball tournament, will be making its way to “The House That Jay-Z Built.” The two-game exhibition will take place on Dec. 15 and include the CIAA’s Virginia Union and Virginia State along with Howard and Delaware State from the MEAC.

The classic also includes live music, a college fair and, of course, the HBCU basketball ball flair. Among the events includes a Leadership and Sports Entertainment Symposium hosted at the New York Times building.
