Offensive Players of The Week
Rudy Johnson, WSSU
Just when it seemed Johnson couldn’t find a way to top his four touchdown first half against Virginia Union, he did it anyway. Johnson was even better in his fourth start at WSSU, throwing for four touchdowns and running for two more as the Rams rolled 56-21 over Bowie State. Johnson completed 20 of 36 passes for 390 yards, and ran for 73 yards on seven attempts.
Derek Bryant, Fayetteville State
For the second week in a row, Bryant came up big in a Fayetteville State win. He completed 22 of 30 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns as FSU held off Chowan in a triple overtime 35-29 win.

Rookie of The Week
Juwan Moye
There were several stars in Fayetteville State’s win over Chowan, but Moye took a backseat to no one. The freshman from Garner caught seven passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
Coach of The Week
Lawrence Kershaw, Fayetteville State
Kershaw got his first home win as a head coach in a triple-overtime game he most likely won’t forget. The team’s third win is already more than it had in 2012.
