It appears that the North Carolina Central-Henry Frazier saga isn’t about to end anytime soon. A blog called The Holder Report is reporting that Frazier has hired a lawyer to “fight for justice and due process.”

The post’s author, Fox News contributor Tamara Holder, tweeted a copy of a letter from Frazier’s attorney, Linda Keeny Bailey, addressed to NCCU Chancellor Debra Saunders-White. Below is an excerpt.
“Henry Frazier III has maintained his innocence on these charges. But apparently his maintaining of his innocence was irrelevant in the quick determination made by representatives of NCCU. As your Director of Athletics is very aware, Frazier specifically asked bring legal representation to the meeting to discuss his suspension. That request was improperly denied on the basis that legal representation was not allowed at that stage. Attached please find a screen shot of a text between Ingrid Wicker-McCree and Frazier which states “we do not involve legal representation during employment related discussions.”
The post’s author accuses the university of turning its back on Frazier and being hypocritical to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have a Dream Speech.”
Dwayne Foster was named interim head coach after Frazier’s dismissal. North Carolina Central opens the 2013 season against Duke on Aug. 31.
