TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —— The reigning HBCU National Champion FAMU Rattlers return to defend its 20-game home winning streak this Saturday versus South Carolina State and will do it with a new voice of Bragg – B Daht (pronounced B Dot).
B Daht started his public address journey at his alma mater, Winston Salem State University, and has been there since 2004.
In the last 20 years, he’s electrified fans by way of public address announcing and arena hosting for the Charlotte Hornets, Greensboro Swarm, CIAA Basketball & Football Championships, North Carolina men’s basketball, CP3’s Annual HBCU Classic, and more.
B Daht has also displayed his comedic skill set for two decades on morning radio in North Carolina, five seasons on Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘n Out, and most recently on 85 South’s “Netflix is a Joke” taping.
B Daht also has a successful podcast, “I Didn’t Know, Maybe You Didn’t Either,” on the Black Effect Podcast that shares a black history fact we weren’t taught in school daily in February.
Most importantly, B Daht is excited to bring his swag to the Highest of Seven Hills and galvanize the fans in Bragg Memorial Stadium!
“I’m getting my ‘strike’ on point!” said B Daht. “I can’t wait to scream, ‘I REPRESENT!’ & watch them go CRAZYYYYYY!!! August 31st versus the South Carolina State Bulldogs, don’t meet me there, BEAT ME THERE! Go Rattlers!”
