Ivy League school agrees to series with North Carolina A&T

Truist

North Carolina A&T continues to build out its future schedule, adding a home-and-home matchup with an Ivy League program in the next decade.

NC A&T has agreed to a home-and-home series with Princeton University for the 2030 and 2031 seasons, according to FBSchedules. It will host Princeton at Truist Stadium in Greensboro, N.C., on Oct. 12, 2030. The series will shift to New Jersey the following year as A&T travels to Princeton Oct. 11, 2031.

The Ivy League Program and the HBCU from the Coastal Athletic Association have never met on the football field before.

Princeton University is set to host Howard University on Sept. 28 this season.

Both the 2030 and 2031 seasons are 12-game seasons. North Carolina A&T’s current structure in the CAA allows for four non-conference games. The addition of the Princeton game means three of those slots are filled for 2030. NC A&T is set to take on archrival North Carolina Central on Aug. 31 and SEC power Georgia on Sept. 7.

NC A&T recently agreed to a home-and-home series with fellow HBCU Tennessee State University last month. Tennessee State will host North Carolina A&T on August 30, 2025 in Nashville Tennessee. North Carolina A&T will welcome Tennessee State University to Truist Stadium on Sept. 9, 2028.
