Shilo Sanders has entertained many throughout his college football career. From high stepping like the J6 during his time at Jackson State to pick six interceptions at Colorado. We won’t even dive into his Deion Sanders impersonations on social media. But this week, with an appearance on the show Black Mafia Family, Sanders became yet another HBCU grad to showcase his talents on television.
Sanders had an extended cameo appearance on Thursday night’s BMF season finale of the show playing a 1990s version of his father.
“Let me tell you something man, if you look good, you feel good. And if you feel good you play good. And if you play good everything is going to pay good,” Sanders said during the scene. It’s one of the more iconic phrases that has stood the test of time from his father Deion Sanders.
In real life the elder Sanders was thrilled by the opportunity for his son Shilo.

Shilo Sanders graduated from Jackson State in May 2023 before transferring to Colorado to rejoin his father. During his time at JSU, Sanders competed for two HBCU National Championships, making the Celebration Bowl in back to back seasons.
