Virginia Union University’s Ny Langley, a senior on the 2023-24 Lady Panther basketball team, has been invited to the WNBA Combine, to be held in Cleveland, Oh., during the Women’s Basketball Final Four on Saturday, April 6.
Langley, who will graduate in May with a degree in Criminal Justice, was named to the 2024 Women’s Basketball All-CIAA team while leading the Lady Panthers with a 14.4 points per game scoring average.
“It is an honor and much deserved opportunity for Ny Langley to be chosen to participate in the combine,” said VUU Head Women’s Basketball Coach Tierra Terry. “She has always had aspirations of playing professionally, so we are excited that she has the opportunity to showcase her talent! It is always big for the CIAA and HBCUs when one player can represent the conference in a combine at that level. We wish her good luck as she represents VUU!”
This is an invitation-only combine to give the top college seniors, free agents and overseas professionals an opportunity to be evaluated by WNBA coaches and General Managers, foreign coaches and agents before the draft in April.
