Just four years ago Mo’ne Davis took over the hearts of sports fans everywhere. Now she has decided to take her talents to an HBCU.
The first girl to win a Little League World series has decided that she will attend Hampton University to play softball. She chose Hampton over Southern, Bethune-Cookman, Coppin State, the University of Massachusetts and the University of Pennsylvania.
She said the school’s communications department is what won her over.
Davis will exit Springside Chesnut Hill Academy, where she played soccer, softball, and basketball, as a three-star athlete.
