Podcast: Big Week Seven Matchups

Homecoming season and championship implications

Week Seven in Black College Football has a lot of offerings.  Homecoming season is in full swing and there are some games that may influence the championship picture in all four conferences.

The best on-field product could potentially be in the state of Virginia when Bowie State travels to Virginia State for a homecoming matchup. Should that game disappoint in any way, however, the Battle of the Bay between Norfolk State and Hampton is a great insurance policy.  I think Steven will have lots of fun making his picks this weekend, I’m sure he’s going to catch some heat from disgruntled fans, but what else is new?

SIAC vs SWAC

The SIAC will have a chance to make a statement this weekend with two matchups against the SWAC.  The Fifth Quarter Classic between Tuskegee and Jackson State should be a great fan experience and if JSU doesn’t get a win here, Tuskegee will finish the season 2-0 against the SWAC.

I also give Steven the hypothetical choice of picking the best game atmosphere of the weekend.  Check out which game he would attend in a perfect world if he could only go to one game this weekend.
