For the second year in a row, Grambling is Bayou Classic champion and competing for the SWAC title. GSU punched it ticket to Houston with a 52-30 win over its in-state rival in front of 67,845 fans in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Grambling will play Alcorn State in the SWAC Championship Game in a rematch of last season’s game, which Alcorn won. Grambling won the team’s regular season matchup 43-18.
