Tarik Cohen obviously loves playing on national TV and he never disappoints. The senior from Bunn, NC rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns, including a 94-yard run to close out his team’s 31-9 win over Hampton.

Greg Hankerson, Norfolk State: Completed 25-of-35 passes for 366 yards and 2 TDs, ran for 19 yards and 2 TDs vs. Howard

DeVante Kincade, Grambling: 17-for-30 passing, 272 yards total offense, 3 TDs vs. Prairie View

Khaid Thomas, Alabama State: 143 rushing yards, 2 TDs

Jordan Bentley, Alabama A&M: 114 yards, 3 TDs, 1 catch, TD

Ramon Simpson, NC Central: Rushed for 116 yards and 1 TD, caught one pass for 42 yards

Ronald Butler, Tennessee State: 17-for-24 passing for 223 yards and 3 TDs vs. UT-Martin


Defensive Player of The Week

Fredrick Henry-Ajudua, NC Central: NCCU came up with its first win agains Bethune-Cookman since 1994 and Henry-Ajuda was a big reason why. He had six tackles and three big sacks to help NCCU improve to to 2-0 in the MEAC and 3-2 overall.

Andre Wilson, Alabama State: Seven tackles, 2 sacks vs. UAPB
