It’s been a summer full of uniform reveals with the MEAC leaving Russell, and now we now know what one of the conference’s most iconic programs will be wearing. Florida A&M revealed their new nike uniforms during Saturday’s Fang Day in Tallahassee.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js The jersey is pretty low key (well, as low key as the Rattlers colors allow) but the pants have a nice little touch with the word “STRIKE” on the side.

Looks like they put more effort into the pants than jerseys. #ReallyNike ?
I guess the minimalist look is in. One player at fan day had on the all white combination. I look forward to seeing the green jerseys and pants. I cannot see FAMU wearing all orange on a consistent basis. All orange on fan day was a strange choice, but I like the “Strike” on the pants. I am interested in seeing what combination FAMU will wear when the Rattlers play Miami.

Nike really didn’t put much effort into these. I really appreciate the idea of Nike supporting HBCUs. But, I’ve seen them do way better. C+
