Deon King didn’t get a chance to hear his name called out in the NFL Draft this weekend, but he will get a shot at making it in the league. The former Norfolk State linebacker has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Buck Buchanan Award winner led the FCS in tackles with 163 last season. He was also named an HBCU Gameday FCS All-American as a senior.
“I’m excited to get a chance to play for the Cowboys,” King said in a statement. “But I’m still hungry to prove myself and make the 53-man roster.”
