Former North Carolina Central defensive back Ryan Smith is one of 200 young men who will see their dreams come true when they are selected in the NFL Draft. The Upper Marlboro, MD product came to NCCU in 2011 on a partial scholarship after playing just one year of high school football. Five years later, he’s helped his team to two MEAC-co championships and put himself in position to become a fourth or fifth round pick.
