We’re still about nine months from the start of next college football season, but it looks like Grambling may have found its next quarterback. Former Ole Miss quarterback DeVante Kincade has decided to transfer to Grambling, according to the Clarion-Ledger.
Kincade completed 9 of 15 attempts for 79 yards and a touchdown last season for the Rebels, after losing a three-way battle for the starter’s job.
Grambling will be looking to replace Jonathan Williams, the 2015 SWAC Offensive Player of the Year and HBCU Gameday All-American. Williams threw for 3,185 yards and 37 touchdown while leading Grambling to the SWAC West title.
