Former Texas Southern quarterback gunned down in New Jersey

A former Texas Southern student-athlete was killed on Sunday. Former TSU quarterback Jamal Small was gunned down in Asbury Park, New Jersey on Sunday morning, according to MoreMonmoouthMusings.com. Small was just 24 years old.

Asbury Park Police were called to the scene shortly before noon. Small was pronounced dead at 2:56 P.M. EST. No arrests have been made yet.

Small played two seasons at Texas Southern, throwing for 9 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He had recently graduated from TSU.
