It’s nearly three weeks since we last saw Devon Gales, as the receiver was carted off the field after suffering what we know know was a spinal injury. The Shepherd Center in Atlanta has released an update on Gales’ condition, along with this photo.
Via the Baton Rouge Advocate:
“The Shepherd Center released the photo, saying “Mr. Gales and his family are appreciative for the outpouring of support from the public, but have requested privacy at this time.”
Gales was admitted to Shepherd Center at the end of September after he underwent surgery for several neck fractures suffered in an injury vs. Georgia.
Shepherd’s team of specialists typically consists of “an attending physician, nurse, occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech language pathologist, recreation therapist, case manager, peer support specialist, nutritionist and psychologist,” according to the statement.
