Mistrial declared in case involving death of former FAMU student athlete

The trial of an officer charged with voluntary manslaughter in the death of a former FAMU student-athlete has concluded in a mistrial. Jurors in Charlotte, NC were unable to convict or clear Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer Randall Kerrick in the death of Jonathan Ferrell on Friday.
