Can WSSU bounce back from CIAA Championship loss to Virginia State?

Winston-Salem State had a good season last year, going 9-2, but coming up short in the CIAA Championship Game against Virginia State. That loss, combined with failure to make the Division II playoffs for the first time since 2010 was a tough pill to swallow for a team that had won a playoff game three years in a row.

Can WSSU bounce back from the VSU loss to start a new streak? We caught up with head coach Kienus Boulware, receiver Marcel Caver and linebacker Michael Bloomfield to see how they’ve dealt with the loss and what can be done to make sure the results are different next time.
