LaMontiez Ivy is already one of the best quarterbacks in the SWAC after just one season. The Jackson State quarterback is serving as a counselor at the Manning Passing Academy in Louisiana after leading the SWAC in passing yards in his first full collegiate season.
But Ivy isn’t at the camp just to teach, he’s there to get better as well. Ivy is one of several college quarterbacks serving as counselors, along with FBS signal-callers as well as Grambling’s Jonathan Williams.
“I’m just trying to get better myself, I can’t speak for nobody else, but myself, I’m just trying to get better and compete with these guys.”
