Phillip Sims’ journey to being an NFL QB isn’t complete, but it is continuing. The former Winston-Salem State quarterback has signed with the Arizona Cardinals.
Sims went undrafted in last week’s NFL Draft, but was offered a tryout by the Cardinals on Saturday.
“Officially a member of the Arizona Cardinals organization,” Sims posted on his Instagram account. “Blessed beyond words. Prayer truly does work.”
Sims began his college career at Alabama, played at UVa. for one year and finished at WSSU. He helped guide the Rams to a 9-2 record, throwing for 15 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
