Magic Johnson awarded honorary doctorate at XULA

Perhaps its time to stop calling Earvin Johnson “Magic” and start calling him “Dr. J.”

The NBA legend participated in Xavier of Louisiana’s (XULA) commencement services on Saturday and was awarded an honorary doctor of business degree from the school.

Johnson attended Michigan State, but XULA has a couple of NBA players in its own right. Most notably: Slick Watts, who played for the Sonics in the 1970s.
