Southern will be looking to make it back to the SWAC title game for the third year in a row this fall. The Jags came up just short last season, but with the offensive firepower provided by Austin Jackson, Lenard Tillery and Willie Quinn, they should easily be in the hunt again.

Offense
RB, Lenard Tillery: Willie Quinn is probably Southern’s most explosive play maker, but Tillery’s hard nosed running style adds balance to the team’s offensive attack and gives Jackson a blanket whenever the passing game isn’t on.
