Despite a productive two year career at Tennessee State and a sizzling 40 yard dash time at the combine, A.C. Leonard still has something to prove. The former Florida tight end went undrafted, but will sign with the Minnesota Vikings according to Tennessee State’s twitter account.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Leonard went undrafted despite catching 85 passes over the past two seasons at TSU and running the fastest time by a tight end 4.42 at the NFL Combine in February. Most would credit that to the dreaded “character issues” tag that he still apparently carries from his time in Gainesville.
Leonard’s teammate David Van Dyke will also get a shot via the UDFA route, as he signed with Kansas City. TSU offensive linemen Kadeem Edwards and Demetrius Rhaney were both picked in the NFL Draft.
