Brayboy Madness took on a whole new meaning Wednesday night as Johnson C. Smith and Winston-Salem State played a game that will be talked about for years to come. The game ended in a tie as a desperation heave hit a light fixture and damaged it.
//instagram.com/p/kn804-u7bu/embed/ JCSU led by five points with less than two minutes left before WSSU managed to claw its way back. Marquez Jones’ three pointer missed with seconds remaining but Javan Wells rebounded the ball and tied the game at 76.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js JCSU’s Joshua Linton attempted to respond with a prayer before the buzzer, but his shot hit the light, leaving the fixture dangling. After a brief discussion, CIAA officials ruled the game a draw. WSSU is now 6-2-1 in the CIAA Division. It hosts 8-1 Livingstone on Saturday.
