Last week’s snow might have distracted you, but spring football is around the corner. Earlier this month, Winston-Salem State announced it had signed 15 members to its 2014 recruiting class. It looks like two former stars from Fayetteville’s Jack Britt High School are planning on suiting up for the Rams this season.

Jalen McDaniel and JD Polk both posted Instagram pictures this week suggesting they’ll be on WSSU’s roster this season. Polk played defensive back at Western Carolina for the past couple of years.

McDaniel originally committed to North Carolina State after being pursued by schools like North Carolina and East Carolina. The 6’2, 202lb safety/receiver never made it to NC State, instead spending time at Jireh Prep School after graduating in 2013. He said via twitter that he is at WSSU.
