The road to from an HBCU to the NFL has gotten tighter over the years, but the rewards are still pretty darn good. HBCU Money released a report on Wednesday showing the salaries for NFL players from HBCUs. Leading the way was Alabama A&M’s Robert Mathis, who currently makes nearly $11 million as a member of the Indianapolis Colts.
