Lincoln Still Looking For Head Coach

When your football team is coming off a 1-9 season, every preseason snap counts. Especially during spring ball. Lincoln (PA) is set to play its sixth annual Orange and Blue Game on April 12. However, just over three weeks away from that date, the Lions are without a head football coach.

In mid-January, the school issued a statement saying that O.J. Abanishe would not return for the 2013 season. As of today, the Lions are still without a head coach. A spokesman for the athletic department stated that assistant coaches will run the practice while the university is in the process of hiring a full-time head coach.

The team will return several starters, including quarterback Doug Cook, who threw for 2,752 yards last season, good for second in the CIAA. The team also returns second-team All-CIAA kicker Kyle Jaski, and CIAA All-Rookie member Brion Robinson.
