Hampton alleges unfair treatment by MEAC in four-page letter

Hampton

Hampton claims MEAC “has levied vindictive sanctions against our student athletes” and blackballed it from football.

The divorce between Hampton and the MEAC is uglier than anyone thought and now it’s on paper.

As originally reported by Onnidan, Hampton will not play ANY MEAC teams this upcoming football season. In an effort to tell its side of the story, Hampton is speaking out.

HBCU Gameday received an email from Hampton officials that stated the MEAC “has levied vindictive sanctions against our student athletes.”

We’ll have more later but you can read the entire letter here.
