Norfolk State’s Deon King wins Buck Buchanan Award

Norfolk State may not have won a lot of games last season, but one of its players just won a big honor. Linebacker Deon King was named the winner of the 2015 Buck Buchannan Award, given to the most outstanding defender in FCS football.

King became just the third MEAC player to win the award, named after the famed Grambling State defensive lineman. King led the FCS with 163 tackles, including 11 for loss. He has been invited to the NFLPA Bowl Game as well.
