Former Winston-Salem State linebacker Carlos Fields has worn a lot of jerseys in the past year. The rookie linebacker signed with Oakland after going undrafted, then bounced to Tampa Bay after being cut. Two weeks after being let go by Tampa Bay, he’s found his way to the practice squad for the New York Giants.
Fields will join tight end Larry Donnell (Grambling) and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Tennessee State) as the HBCU player on the Giants roster.
