One of the big reasons we created HBCU Gameday was because many HBCUs don’t get adequate or fair coverage of sports from media outlets. Many of them also don’t have the resources dedicated to properly fund their sports information offices, which hinders social media presence.
Livingstone College, located in Salisbury, NC is off to its best start in over a decade. As I type this, they are a quarter away from going 3-0 for the first time in a looooong time. Unfortunately, many people won’t be able to tell you who they actually beat for that win. That’s because whoever is running the athletic department’s website doesn’t seem to be sure.
