When talking about college athletics, the topic of education is mostly based on the student-athletes on the field. But the students aren’t the only ones in the classrooms either.
Alabama State Head Coach Donald Hill-Eley has now received his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration. Hill-Eley received his degree from Morgan State, the school he coached from 2000 until 2013. He currently ranks third all-time in wins for the Bears.

He graduated from Virginia Union in the early 1990s. During his coaching tenure at Hampton in the mid-’90s, Hill-Eley received a Master’s in Counseling.
