Black college football lost another legend on Monday. Former Jackson State star and former NFL All-Pro Willie Richardson passed away at 76, according to WJTV.
Richardson was one of five brothers from Clarksdale, Mississippi that went on to play at Jackson State, several of which went on to play in the NFL. He played for the Baltimore Colts from 1963 to 1970, the Miami Dolphins for part of 1970, and then finished up with the Colts in 1971.
An All-American at JSU, he was selected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
