Livingstone College – a private HBCU located in Salisbury, NC – just picked up another big gift.
Livingstone College recently received its sixth unrestricted $1 million donation, a significant investment in its growth and development. Dr. Davis announced this generous contribution to the campus staff on Tuesday morning (6/18). The anonymous donor’s investment will reinforce the college’s infrastructure and fund upcoming capital projects, further enhancing the college’s mission and impact.
This news closely follows the college’s fifth $1 million contribution, received at the beginning of the month. It underscores Livingstone College’s importance to the Rowan-Salisbury community and the state of North Carolina as one of its premier private HBCUs and its ongoing commitment to supporting its students and their families.
On Saturday, June 22nd, the college hosted an orientation for prospective students and their families. This event gave incoming students and their families a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the Livingstone College community. They had the chance to tour the campus and, most importantly, meet with Dr. Davis and our dedicated staff.
