Three HBCU Players Among Draft Site’s Top 300 Prospects

After months of speculation and discussion, the start of the NFL Draft is just under 48 hours away. There are hundreds, if not thousands of Mock Drafts floating around.

Here’s NFLDraftScout.com’s list of the draft’s top 300 players. Three of them are prospects from HBCU.

189. *Isaiah Crowell, Jr, RB, Alabama State, 5-11, 224, 4.57, 5-6: SEC Fr. POY in 2011 comes w/significant character ?s but obvious talent. May be class’ most gifted RB.

217. Carlos Fields Jr., rSr, OLB, Winston-Salem State, 6-1, 238, 4.51, 6-7: Highly competitive & productive (323 career tackles), 2x Conf. Defensive POY; D2 standout.

274. Kadeem Edwards, Sr, OG, Tennessee State, 6-4, 313, 5.25, 7-FA: Wide-body w/long arms (35 1/2) & experience (4-yr starting LG). Projects to power scheme.

NFLDraftScout.com spends the whole year prepping for this, so they should be pretty close. We’ll have to see over the next couple of days.
