Is XULA the best kept secret in women’s college basketball?

Women’s college basketball doesn’t get a lot of exposure, especially at the NAIA level. But Xavier (LA) women’s team is definitely worthy of recognition as it reached the 20 win mark for the thirteenth consecutive season, and 21st time in 22 seasons.

Since the start of the 2000-01 season, the XULA women have lost just thirteen games at their on-campus arena, six fewer than national power Tennessee. They have made the NAIA Division I national title game every year since 2010. The Golden Nuggets are currently 20-9 and seeded second in the Gulf Coast Athletic Association Tournament, which starts March 7.
