Yung Miami flier about club appearance during MEAC goes viral

Yung Miami’s controversial club appearance sparked speculation about her financial status, but she dismissed rumors of financial trouble.

Caresha Brownlee — also known as “Yung Miami” — is back out on the club circuit and her new flier is causing all kinds of feedback.

The rapper, one half of the rap group “City Girls” posted a flier announcing she would be appearing at a club in Hampton, Virginia on March 15.

The flier mentioned MEAC Tournament Weekend 2024, though it does not have any official MEAC logo nor does it list it as an event officially tied to the conference. The MEAC Tournament is taking place across the water in Norfolk, VA from March 13-16.

Yung Miami, Caresha

Caresha’s post prompted speculation that she was being “cut off” from Sean “Diddy” Combs. The two have been linked for the past few years, but his mounting legal troubles continue to make headlines and the two have disappeared from the spotlight together. So many people see Yung Miami making a club appearance in Virginia (which apparently is a bad thing?) as proof that she is no longer being pampered by Howard University’s own music mogul.

And Caresha had time to address the naysayers.

“I’m broke?” She tweeted on X, “This sh*t must be new to me!!!!”

Apparently, someone speculated the fact that she was selling her clothes as an indicator that she was financially in trouble.

“I’m broke selling my clothes? When I always had Caresha closet on my website this whole time mind you I BEEN doing this???” Caresha tweeted with a photo from her website. “Yall ppl saying ANYTHING LMAOOO.”

Whatever the truth is, it looks like Yung Miami will be in the 757 during the MEAC Tournament on Friday night.
