Just over 48 hours after one former Ole Miss player helped Grambling return back to the top of black college football, GSU has landed another former player from the SEC school. Former Ole Miss tackle Christian Morris announced via Twitter that he will be joining Kincade at Grambling.

Morris hasn’t played football since a neck injury appeared to end his career in October of 2015. At the time doctors told him that another tough hit could paralyze him.
“At the time, I was like, ‘I don’t want to listen to that.’ I wanted to go to Peyton Manning’s doctor,” Morris told the Clarion-Ledger in Dec. 2015. “But I don’t want to be that selfish to myself to go out there and get paralyzed. I couldn’t hurt my family and everybody else that cares for me.”
The 6’6, 313 pound Memphis native tweeted last month that he was cleared to play again.
Grambling went 12-1 this season, claiming the SWAC title and winning the black college football national championship with a 10-9 win over North Carolina Central in the Celebration Bowl on Saturday. Kincade, who transferred from Ole Miss following the 2015 season, put up big numbers, throwing 30 touchdowns to just four interceptions on the season.
